MOTIVATE AWARD WINNERS!

Strem HQ FIRST Lego League team PI-RATES won the motivate Award at the Walton FLL Regional Qualifiers held at Walton High School on Dec 4, 2021.

Pirates has 6 students from East Side Elementary school in Cobb County ranging from 4th to 5th grades. All of the students in the team are rookies who have never participated in the FLL competitions before.

We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication this little group of students has shown.

Motivate award is given to the team that celebrates a team that embraces the culture of FIRST LEGO League through team building, team spirit and displayed enthusiasm.

The Pirates are selected for their enthusiasm to learn and passion towards robotics. These students meet up each week after school at the school itself. They achieved a high score of 135 points in the robot game which is a great score for a rookie team. They also gave judges interviews and performed the skit about their innovation project in which they proposed a solar powered barge which compliments this years theme - Cargo Connect.

Our coaches here at Strem HQ are very proud of this team. Congratulations to the team.
