Each year there is a specific theme on which FLL Events occurs.

“Nano Quest” ; “Power Puzzle” ; “Climate Connections”, “Smart Move”; “Body Forward” ; “Food Factor”; “Senior Solutions”; “Nature’s Fury”; “World Class Learning Unleashed”; “Trash Trek” was last year’s theme and it was focusing on finding suitable and advanced ways to manage trash.
Current year theme is “Animal Alliance” and over 28,000 teams are engaged in it. As you can see the number of teams has been increasing exponentially, hence the challenge keeps getting tougher and competitive each year.
Just last year, 2015 STREM HQ rookie teams stood 5th and 10th in robot rounds at regional qualifiers!
At STREMHQ, we believe that each student should have this opportunity for this amazing challenge, it is not just about the robot but about experience as a whole. Participation in which is a reward and with that goal in mind, we keep all our robotics team students engaged in the process, we are competitive, have a great scorecard at the competition and are ready to make friends and have fun!
