Course Description:
This is an introductory course focused on developing computer programming skills using Java.
This course has been designed to develop skills in systematic thinking, logical reasoning, problem solving skills through mathematical and logic games. Programming Assignments focus on developing programming concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
This course covers an overview of introductory material through hands-on labs and individual and collaborative projects. Labs are carried out in the cross-platform Java environment, which will be set up on students' personal laptop computers.
Students become familiar with fundamental object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms, and techniques
Participants are expected to bring laptops for this class. Laptops must be PC with 16gb Ram and min 100gB of free space.
Specific course detail such as hours and instructors are subject to change at the discretion of the Institution. Not all instructors listed for a course teach all sections of that course. Instructors can group sessions topics and add or drop based on interest and pace of the class.
